How We Found Our Way

Picture of How We Found Our Way

Our story likes to whisper about an invisible string, one that connects two hearts regardless of the miles that may lie between them. For years, we unknowingly lived in the same state, our lives moving in parallel, perhaps even frequenting the same local spots or attending similar community events. Little did we know that fate was patiently waiting for the right moment to reveal the connection that had already begun to form.

Then, life threw a curveball and Adeel moved to Atlanta. You’d think that would make things complicated, and it did, a little. But somehow, that distance didn’t feel like a full stop. There was this pull, this feeling that something was still in motion.

When we finally connected, it felt like coming home. For Adeel, it was the way Arzu’s smile lit up a room, the gentle melody of her voice, and the joyful sound of her laugh that instantly captivated him. And for Arzu, Adeel was simply mesmerizing – his kindness a comforting presence, his thoughtfulness a language her heart understood, and his aura something that made her feel instantly at ease.

Our journey together has been filled with countless little moments, each one building the beautiful and very real connection we share. Even with the miles that were between us for a while, there was always this hopeful feeling that we were on our way to something truly special, something that was meant to be.

The proposal was a moment that transcended distance, a heartfelt promise that closed the miles between us and opened the door to our future together. Adeel planned a genuine surprise along the beautiful shoreline of Boston. Even with the gentle rain, adding an unexpected layer of romance, he asked the question that changed everything. Arzu was completely taken aback, her heart overflowing with joy as she said Yes! It was a perfect moment, a promise whispered against the backdrop of the city and the soft rhythm of the rain.

Now, as we eagerly anticipate the start of our marriage, we are both filled with excitement for the life we are about to build. We eagerly look forward to creating a life that pleases Allah swt, everyday life, the big adventures, starting a family down the road and excited to do it together, hand in hand, all guided by our beliefs in shaa’ Allah. We anticipate every shared moment, a home filled with love and laughter, and a future where our individual dreams intertwine.

Our story is a testament to the enduring power of connection and the beautiful mystery of how love finds its way. We are so excited to celebrate the next chapter with all of you, knowing that our invisible string has now become a tangible bond for all to witness.
